Today is publication day for the anthology Mystery Most Devious, a collection of 17 short stories produced in partnership with Malice Domestic, a convention that celebrates the Traditional Mystery— “best typified by the works of Agatha Christie.” Now in its 36th year, each convention offers a different anthology—some uniquely themed, all following the naming conventions Mystery Most…, and we are proud to announce that Jennifer is one of the authors selected in this year’s collection!
The story, “Zarparan,” has been mentioned on this blog before, when it was chosen as the second place winner in the genre category of the Writer’s Digest 90th Annual Writing Contest, and we’re very happy that it has found a home in such a wonderful anthology, among such talented writers! Inspired by a real account of saffron fraud in England, Zarparan tells the story of an investigation into a strange case of counterfeit saffron, a spice more valuable by weight than gold.
